Whale Swim Tonga Packages in 2006

At present we are looking at providing 2 or 3 trips for singles/couples and groups.

Whale WATChing trips For singles or couples

Stay on beautiful Mounu Island Resort, a 7 acre coral atoll surrounded by a white sandy beach right in the heart of the Humpback Whales breeding grounds. Whales are seen almost daily from the Island, at times milling less than 50m off the beach. Being this close to where the action is, you will head off for your 6 hour whale watch trip with the chance to get up close and personal with the Humpback Whales. When permitted (co-operative whales and weather conditions) we will get you in the water for a snorkel with these majestic creatures. A visit to Swallows Cave and Mariners Cave is also included.

The all inclusive package is as follows:

1 fale (accommodation unit) for 3 nights from 27, 28, 29 September 2006
Cost = US$ 1847.75 (all taxes included)

1 fale (accommodation unit) for 4 nights from 26, 27, 28, 29 September 2006
Cost = US$ 2130.00 (all taxes included)

• Accommodation for 2 adults in twin or double room.
• Full meal plan - cooked/continental breakfast, 2 course lunch, 3 course dinner. Afternoon teas complimentary.
• Return transfers from Vava'u domestic airport (15min bus ride)to Mounu Island Resort (30min boat ride).
• 3 or 4 days of whale watching (depending upon your package)

What you need to organize: Your international and domestic airfares. Package does not include alcoholic drinks on island or travel insurance.

You have a group of friends who wish to stay on an Island by themselves? Mounu Island Resort is a 7 acre private Island surrounded by sand, fantastic snorkeling reef, crystal clear blue water and super close to where the Humpback Whales are. Mounu Island Resort also only accommodates 8 guests. 4 days of Whale Watching, with the chance to swim with these majestic creatures. 1 day of boat use for exploring the other amazing spots of Vava'u.

Total cost = US$13307.50 (all taxes included)

Adult group package includes:

• 1 deluxe fale (accommodation unit) at double bed configuration

• 4 full days of whale watching (6 hours)
